Victorian Style, Corner Lot Home 📍Lincoln District, Tacoma

I grew up in the Lincoln District of Tacoma. My parents still live in the home that my sister and I were raised in. We both graduated from Lincoln High School and came back after higher education, to live and start our own lives in Tacoma, WA. Although I don’t live in the Lincoln District now, I frequent the parks, restaurants and grocery stores – I love this community.

This Victorian Style, corner lot home was one that I remember walking by when I was a student at Lincoln. The stature of the home, classic wrap around deck, large windows and surrounding trees make it a memorable home.

Originally built in 1905; large windows, open space, tall ceilings and access to bathroom and laundry on the main floor are features that have remained functional and favored for over a century.

Stature, Style and Space

The layout and design of this home make it easy to live. Unlike some turn-of-the-century homes, there is ample storage/flex space for your hobbies and day-to-day necessities.

Walk-in pantry located off the kitchen provides the required space to stay well stocked throughout the year and store all your kitchen gadgets! Sunroom is also located directly off of the kitchen; Souther exposure is ideal for plants, or use as your exercise room or storage space – there are many options here to help match your lifestyle.

Large double pane windows in the living room, dining, kitchen and primary bedroom provide natural lighting throughout the day. During the fall especially, the foliage from the surrounding trees provides makes the space feel cozy and private.

Fully fenced side-yard. Dog & Kid Friendly

The current owners fenced in this side yard. The added security and privacy allowed them to let their pups go outside to play without worry. During the spring and summer months especially, the owners found use of the patio under the evergreen (kind of magical).

Storage shed stays with the property. Notice the Juliet balcony that overlooks your backyard. This balcony used to have a landing pad with a stairwell that lead to the backyard.
