Take a drive down treelined North Yakima Ave and you’ll fall in love with the history and the homes.

This neighborhood has some of our favorite restaurants like Art House Café, Indo Street Eatery and Shake Shake Shake. Enjoy Rhein Haus, a Bavarian style pub with a large patio and bar games, or Parkway Tavern – a classic bar serving local brews, cocktails and pub food.

In addition to all the fabulous eateries, Stadium District also offers plenty of local shops for all of your needs. Visit the historic Stadium Thriftway for all your grocery, deli and floral items. Ranko’s Pharmacy has been a staple in the Stadium District for many, many years. Before you head home, stop by Tease Chocolates for a tasty treat.

Things To Do:

Stroll through Wright Park and take in all 27-acres of beautifully landscaped public park. Wright Park features W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory, accessible walking paths, basketball courts, playground and a spray-ground.

Kings Books is a community-oriented bookstore that houses over 100,000 books. Tacoma’s largest new and used bookstore that has something for everyone.

The Stadium District would not be complete without visiting the most iconic public High School in America: Stadium High School. Built in the 1800’s, the French Chateau was originally built as a luxury hotel, but opened its doors as “Tacoma High School” in 1906. The brown castle is truly beautiful sight to see!
