TACOMA PIERCE COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS (TPCAR)
TPCAR is the local chapter of the National Realtor Association that we operate within here in Tacoma and Pierce County. Local knowledge, training and direct communication with policy makers give us a strong voice within the community to advocate for homeowners every day. When you hire a realtor, you are hiring someone to advocate on your behalf.
OUR CONTRIBUTIONS
REALTOR DUES
Realtors’ pay annual dues to fund the National, State and Local Realtor Association. Providing members of the party resources to current events to keep us up-to-date on important Local and National real estate trends. In turn, we educate our clients and empower them to make the best decision both now and in the future.
COMMUNITY & GIVING BACK
Secure housing is one of the most important (if not THE most important) pillars for communities to thrive and succeed. Realtors have a heavy hand in providing resources, both in time and money to fill gaps the community is falling short on. When interviewing Realtors to hire, inquire about their regularity for giving back to the community. For every home I sell, I make a donation in my clients name to both the Windermere Foundation as well as the Sam Smith Foundation. These funds are pooled and given to local charities at the end of the year, or when we see a strong need.
Many Real Estate offices plan annual events to support and give back to the community. At Windermere Abode, one of the biggest events we created and host is Thanksgiving Dinner Kits. Learn more here!
LOCAL REAL ESTATE EXPERTS
Realtors wear many hats and although we aren’t contractors by trade, our work requires us to build lasting relationships with trades professionals.
