Windermere Abode’s 7th Annual Community Dinner Kits
Each year we raise money for “Community Dinner Kits” to gift members of our community a delicious meal with all the fixings included! Last year, we served 85 families as a group and our goal this year is to serve up to 150 families and raise money for as many families as we can in the Tacoma area. We are teamed up with the Tacoma School’s McKinley Vento program to connect with families interested in a dinner kit. This year, we’re asking that all donations are made by Saturday, November 20th. Our Windermere Abode office and families will be assembling the boxes to be delivered.
Each dinner kit comes packaged with all the necessities for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. One large turkey, two boxes of stuffing, one carton of chicken stock, a container of French fried onions, cans of green beans, potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, cans of cranberry sauce. And to finish it off, a bottle of sparkling apple cider and fresh baked pumpkin pie! We wouldn’t be able to do this without the generous support of our community!
