Have you ever heard the expression, “look good, feel good?” Well it’s true! No matter what your style is, or how you express yourself, if you don’t feel like you look good then you’re not going to be your normal self. We are constantly looking for new ways to express our true selves and creativity and one of the best ways to do that is through what we choose to wear. The fashion industry has shifted tremendously and so has the way we access it. We give lots of thanks to the internet for allowing us to be just a few clicks away from our next wardrobe change, all while eating your lunch at the office. Business owners have taken advantage of the internet and its widely-ranged audience by creating fashion boutiques accessible online. Two of those small business owners in particular being Jenny Tilley and her partner/bestie Katie who run Harper and Reed Boutique.
Through this blog, get to know more about Jenny and Katie, why they chose to join the evolutionary online shopping world and what their boutique has to offer!
What products and/or services do you offer? How long have you been in business?
Harper and Reed Boutique is currently all online, we officially launched our website in January of 2018, and offer women’s clothing and accessories.
How do we find you online?
Find us through our website harperandreed.com or
you can find us on Facebook and Instagram as well.
What is the lesser known about your business that you wish more people knew?
My partner Katie and I are military spouses who run the business in 2 separate states since our husbands are now stationed at different locations. Katie is in North Carolina and I am in Florida! I was born and raised in Gig Harbor, WA so I take many trips back home and try to have pop-up shops when I can in Washington.
Why did you start? What makes your business different? Fun facts?
We are two mamas who share a passion for owning our own business and love of fashion. We became BFFs in 2012 while our husbands were stationed in Florida. Fast forward eight years to three babies, and three moves (and too many deployments spent drinking wine on the couch to count) we love being able to stay connected as military wives through this business.
